Quanticed is built to be private by default. We don't run advertising trackers, we don't require an account, and the figures you type into our calculators never leave your browser. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means.
The numbers you enter
All calculations run locally, in your browser. The values you enter into a calculator are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us or stored on any server. We never see, collect, or retain the financial figures you work with.
Some calculators put your inputs into the page's web address (the URL) so you can bookmark a result or share a link via the "copy shareable link" button. That information lives only in the link itself. If you choose to share such a link, anyone you send it to can see the inputs encoded in it, so take care with sensitive figures.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use cross-site tracking, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting. You can use the entire site without consenting to any tracking, because there is none to consent to.
Information we don't collect
- We don't ask you to create an account or provide personal details.
- We don't build advertising or behavioural profiles of visitors.
- We don't sell, rent, or share personal data — we don't have it to sell.
Third-party services
We keep third parties to a minimum, but a few are involved in serving the site:
- Web hosting. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and to keep the service running. These logs are not used to identify or track you across the web.
- Web fonts. We load typography from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, your IP address is necessarily visible to Google as part of that request. We use this only for displaying the site's typeface.
If we add any further third-party service in future — for example privacy-respecting analytics — we will update this page and clearly describe what it does.
If you contact us
When you email us or reach out through our contact page, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message) so we can reply. We use it only to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and we don't add you to any marketing list without your consent.
Children's privacy
Quanticed is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we don't collect or store personal data about your use of the calculators, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you've contacted us by email and would like us to delete that correspondence, just ask.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
